∎Product Description

● PU2838 is a two-part adhesive based on Polyurethane technology. Fast-hardening, solvent-free, non-shrink polyurethane strong adhesive which, once hardened, transforms into a very strong-grip adhesive with excellent resistance to water, temperatures, weathering and ageing conditions. Excellent adhesion on metals. Due to the optimum filling properties, it is suitable for use in beading/cord applications.

∎ Instructions

●All surfaces to be bonded must be perfectly clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oils and debris.

●Cleaning of non-porous substrates using a lint free cotton cloth and organic solvent. Cleaning of porous substrates using a steel wire brush to remove loose particles.

●Apply PU-2838 on one side with the special caulking mixing gun and assemble parts immediately or within the processing time.

In hot weather conditions the pot life time is reduced and consequently the processing time

must be quicker. Please carry out some preliminary test before starting your bonding session.

The high viscosity holds elements to be bonded in position, the use of clamps however sometimes is

recommended.

Application

●Weathering resistant bonding of corner joints on metal windows, doors, façade as well as conservatories.

●Suitable for structural strong-grip bonding of wooden elements on both porous and non porous

substrates. Particularly useful and practical for high mechanical resistance assembly and outdoor

applications.
