ASTM A830 AISI-1045 Grade Flat Rolled Medium carbon steel plates
A structural quality, medium-carbon steel plate produced to a chemical composition requirement. Applications include processing industries, gear production, and mining equipment. This grade is produced with .43-.50 carbon and .60-.90 manganese content. 1045 grade steel is included in the ASTM A830 family of specifications.

Coal, Iron, rock, stone, gravel, and even cement are processed and transported every day using parts made from 1045.
