Incoloy 800 Pipe is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy with moderate strength and good resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. Incoloy 800ht Pipe, and Incoloy 800h Pipe are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with high strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature application. Inconel 800h Pipe (UNS N08810) and Incoloy 800HT Pipe (UNS N08811) are dual-certifiable Nickel-Iron-Chromiummaterials that resist oxidation, carburization and other hightemperature corrosion. Alloy 800 Pipe has good creep-rupture properties at temperatures above 1100°F (600°C) while Alloy 800 Seamless Pipe has excellent creepstrength at temperatures above1290°F (700°C).
Alloy 800ht Pipe are readily welded by the SMAW (manual), GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG) and SAW processes. Alloy 800h Pipe is primarily used in applications with temperatures up to 1100° F, where alloys 800H seamless pipe and alloy 800HT seamless pipes are normally used in temperatures above 1100° F. ASTM B407 UNS N08800 or UNS N08810 Pipe are suitable for pressure vessel service above 815°C. UNS N08811 Pipe are easily welded and processed by standardshop fabrication practices.
