AISI PH 15-7 MO Precipitation-Hardening Stainless Steel Strips UNS S15700 AMS 5520 Bright Annealed
Strip, Foil, Wire, AMS 5520, ASTM A693
AISI PH 15-7 MO Precipitation-Hardening Stainless Steel Strips UNS S15700 AMS 5520 3/4 Hard Bright Annealed overview
PH 15-7 Mo is a precipitation hardenening stainless steel used for applications requiring high strength and moderate corrosion resistance. It is similar to 17-7 with the substitution of 2% Molybdenum for 2% Chromium resulting in higher room and elevated temperature strength for 15-7 Mo. PH 15-7 Mo stainless steel may be formed in a soft austenitic condition and then hardened to high strength levels by low temperature heat treatments. This allows miminum distortion compared to other quench and temper hardening processes. For maximum strength requirements, 15-7 Mo strip can be supplied in the hard-rolled Condition C for heat treatment to condition CH900.

1) Monel 400
Monel is resistant to corrosion and acids, and some alloys can withstand a fire in pure oxygen. It is commonly used in applications with highly corrosive conditions. The good resistance against corrosion by acids and oxygen makes monel a good material for the chemical industry.
* Monel 400 Sheet, Plate Per QQ-N-281 CL A, AMS 4544, ASTM-B-127 * Thickness: 0.018"~3.000", Width: 12"~60", Length: 36"~192"
* Monel 400 Tubing is offered in a variety of requested sizes.
2) Monel K-500 /K500
Small additions of aluminium and titanium form an alloy (K-500) with the same corrosion resistance but with much greater strength due to gamma prime formation on aging.
Alloy L605 has excellent strength, good oxidation resistance, very good sulfidation resistance, and relatively good resistance to wear and galling. Used in gas turbine parts, bearings, and various industrial applications.
* L605 (HS 25) Vac Melt Bar Per AMS 5759, Diameter: 0.205"~6.5", Length: 144" Random Length
5) Haynes 188
Haynes 188 Alloy is a Cobalt-Nickel-Chromium-Tungsten Alloy that combines excellent high temperature strength with very good resistance to oxidizing environments.
* Haynes 188 Bar Per AMS 5772, B50TF74, Diameter: 0.400"~7.000", Length: 144" Random Length
6) Haynes 230
Haynes 230 has best balance of strength, thermal stability, oxidation resistance, thermal cycling resistance and fabricability of any major high-temperature alloy. Used in gas turbine combustors and other key stationary components. Also used for heat treating and industrial heating applications, and in the chemical/petrochemical process industry and in fossil energy plants.
Hastelloy is a superalloy known for its resistance to high temperatures and stress in severely corrosive environments. Forged primarily from nickel, some types of Hastelloy alloys are common in nuclear reactors, chemical reactors and pipes & valves in chemical installations. Hastelloy X is also used for components such as combustion chambers, tail pipes in aircraft and land-based gas turbine engines.
Nickel-based specialty metal Super Alloy Hastelloy X AMS 5536 is the common Sheet and Plate specification.
