Plano Concave (PCV) Spherical Lens, N-BK7, Diverging Collimated Beam
Overview:
Plano-concave (PCV) lens has one flat and one inward curved surface. PCV lenses have a negative focal length, diverging a collimated beam from a virtual focus and are commonly used for image reduction or to spread light. Star Optic provides plano-concave lenses fabricated from N-BK7, N-SF11, UV-fused silica, calcium fluoride, zinc selenide and etc.

Star Optic's above standard plano concave lenses are uncoated. In order to reduce the amount of light reflected from each surface of the lens, antireflection coatings including singer layer MgF2, multi-layer AR coating, Broadband multi-layer AR coating and Dual wavelength AR coating are also available.
