Double Concave (Bi-Concave) Spherical Lens, N-BK7, Spread Light

Overview:

Double-Concave (DCV) Lens, also referred to as bi-concave lens, has two inward curved surfaces. They have a negative focal length and are best used to diverge a converging beam. Double-concave lenses can diverge a collimated beam to a virtual focus and are commonly used for image reduction and to spread light. Star Optic provides double-concave lenses in a variety of substrates and anti-reflection coating options.

Star Optic's above standard double concave spherical lenses are uncoated. In order to reduce the amount of light reflected from each surface of the lens, antireflection coatings including singer layer MgF2, multi-layer AR coating, Broadband multi-layer AR coating and Dual wavelength AR coating are also available.
