Laser cleaning technology is the process of using the high pulse energy of the laser to irradiate on the surface of the workpiece, to make the dirty-stains, rust, coating and etc.evaporate or peel off instantly, to achieve the cleaning effect.

The principle of laser cleaning
The pulse energy Laser cleaning process depends on the characteristics of the pulse energy beam generated by the laser. It based on the high-energy photophysical reaction caused by the interaction among the high-intensity laser beam, short-pulse laser, and pollution layers.
The physical principles can be summarized as follows:
1) The laser beam should be absorbed by the contamination layer on the surface to be cleaned.
2) The absorption of a large amount of laser energy forms a rapidly expanding plasma (a highly ionized unstable gas), which generates shock waves.
3) The laser beam generates ultrasonic waves on the solid surface to generate mechanical resonance and break the dirt off.
4) The pulse width of the laser must be short enough to avoid heat accumulation that would damage the base material.
5) Experiments show that when there is oxide on the metal surface, plasma is generated on the metal surface.
How to operate the machine
1) Turn on the air switch to up location.
2) Rotate the key to turn on the power supply to the machine.
3) Choose Language "English" on the screen(Language customizable)
4) Then press the Parameter settings button to set the cleaning parameters.
5) Choose the laser shape: Square, Helix, Ring.
a, If you choose to use square and helix shape, just press the "square" or "helix" button, and
then the button will turn to a light green color.
b, The field lens is 254, you do not need to change it.
The Galva speed can be adjusted between 1-30. Normally between 10-25 for square and helix shape.
If you choose ring shape, the speed is between 10-20(No higher than 20, or the laser will in mull).
c, Laser frequency: If you want the power stronger, just set it at 100-300K around.
If you want the power weaker, just increase the amount from 800-2000K.
d, Laser power: it is the ratio of the power of the laser. If 100%, it is on full power.
e, Laser pulse width: 1-30 for precision cleaning, 80-120 for high power cleaning.
f, Graphic length: it can be adjusted between 10-120mm. It is the length of the laser beam.
g, Graphic width: We can say it is the width/or diameter of the laser line.
If you need a laser line: just make it as 0 or 1.
If you want to make the laser move as a square: just set it at 10-50.
h, Filling pitch, it is the density of the laser. the smaller the higher density is.
i, The delay: do not edit them.
j, If you choose ring shape, you do not need to set the width and length. Just leave them there.
Other settings are the same, only need to set the outer circle(1-10) and inner radius(0-9).
Just make sure the inner circle is smaller than the outer one.
6)After the parameters are set, press save to save the data, you do not need to set next time.
7) If you need to preview it, you can press red light. Normally it used for an automatic systems.
8) Considering the safety matters, we made 3 buttons to activate the laser.
After the parameters are set ready:
a, Press the start button on the machine.
b, Press the laser button on the screen, it will turn to red color once the button is on.
c, Press the button on the laser gun. Then the machine will work.
d, The focusing distance is about 250mm. Please move the laser gun forward and backward(or up
and down) to find the focusing distance.
9) If you need to stop working.
a, Turn off the button on the laser gun first.
b, Then turn off the button on the screen and machine.
c, Rotate the key to off the power supply.
d, Unplug the power plug.
