Gapping Tool of Spark Plug Electrode Tuning Gapper Tool 10mm 12mm 14mm Precision Spark Plug Gap Tool

Scaling loss is always inevitable for all spark plugs after thousands miles working and the performance declining beginning. Restoring the spark plug is not a difficult work with a simple tool. The restored spark plugs will bring the engine a red-blooded power output, extend spark plug life, save fuel, and the most important is that you regain the fun and passion of driving.

This Gapping Tool is designed to gap plugs quickly and precisely with a feeler gauge. A ball end at the rotating shaft touch the electrode tightly and not drag it during turning the gapper handle, while the small contact point preventing the electrode from scratching or damage.

The spark plug gap can be decreased or increased by this Gapping Tool.

Increase the gap:  

1, measure the spark plug gap by a feeler gauge and keep in mind of the data;

2, screw the spark plug into the Gapper Tool;

3, rotate the Gapper Tool handle clockwise and adjust the gap between the ball end and electrode to the size by which the target gap size is to be increased;

4, take use of screwdriver, or a knife, or some small tool hard enough, to pry the electrode up to the ball end reached;

5, check the adjusted spark plug gap, if not satisfied, repeat above operation until target size gained.

Decrease the gap:

1, screw the spark plug into the Gapper Tool;

2, rotate the Gapper Tool handle until the ball end touching the electrode and no easy rotation any more;

3, take out 1 or 2 or 3 slices from the feeler gauge and insert it into the spark plug gap;

4, force the Gapper Tool handle rotating until the electrode close to feeler slice;

5, remove the feel gauge and force the Gapper Tool handle rotating on by about 1 panel, 1 of 6 edge of the handle;

6, check the adjusted spark plug gap, if not satisfied, repeat above operation until targe gap gained.
