Reverse osmosis usually uses asymmetric and composite membranes. The equipment used in reverse osmosis is mainly hollow fiber or coil membrane separation equipment.
 
Reverse osmosis membrane can intercept a variety of inorganic ions, colloids and macromolecular solutes in water, so as to obtain a net system of water. It can also be used for the preconcentration of macromolecular organic matter solution.
