Selection for
1.To make modified PP fiber and need a co-rotating parallel twin screw extruder.
2.Conical twin and counter-rotating twin screw extruders have softer shearing, strong conveying resilience, and strong response pressure. They can be directly extruded into sheets, but the performance of mixing and homogenizing is not as good as the parallel twin screw.
3.The co-rotating parallel twin screw is a building block structure, which can mix various materials freely, is good at compounding, and mixes different materials in homogenization. However, the conveying and pressure building capacity is insufficient, and the extrusion pressure is unstable. If you want to extrude directly into sheets or pipes, you need to install a metering pump for pressure building and stabilization.
As for modified PP, the most important thing is the effect of compounding. In the final granulation, it is only necessary to use stretch bars, and the extrusion pressure is not very high, so the co-rotating parallel twin screw extruder works well.
