PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fire rated shutters are equipped with a thermal fusible link mechanism which causes the shutters to lower on their own once a certain temperature is reached. The descend happens when the brakes of the motor are released.They are sometimes linked to the building's security system and can also be activated once the fire alarm goes off.In the event of a fire, the lowering of the shutters helps to create a compartment within the building to prevent the fire from spreading too quickly so as to enable everyone in the building to escape in time.

They are designed to withstand fires for up to 4 hours depending on the fire rating selected. Types of fire rating available are 1, 2 and 3 hours. 2-hour fire rated shutters are the most popular type of fire rated shutters installed in buildings.Fire shutters can be customised to fit the size of your premises.

They also come with a manual hand chain which may be used to raise or lower the shutters in case of a power failure.
Optional items which can be provided are the Electronic Release System, smoke senser tempeture sensor and more.
Fire rated shutters are also sometimes made a requirement for certain types of properties such as factories, shopping malls, hotels and train stations due to fire safety reasons.

The width and height of a door will often define the model of steel rolling shutter slats to be used as each have
their limits and depend on the security level required. We produce 80mm width double skin steel Rockwool insulated slats with our high automatic roll forming machine, which can produce 500 square meters per day.

• What is the delivery time?

A: 20 days for the standard colors and 30 days for the customized. Also it depends on the specifications and quantity each order. Shipment time depends on the location of our customers.

• What is your payment items?

A: Normally we accept 30% for deposit by T/T and the balance would be arranged before delivery. If you have any other suggestion, please contact with us.

• Can we place one or two sets for trial?

A: Yes of course, this is the better way of quality check. Also if you don't required one whole set, we have small sample in stock as well, it is free of charge, you just need to handle with the freight. It is a good way to show the sincerity for both of us.

• How can I know the price exactly?

A: The price is based on your specific requirements, it is better to provide as much as possible information such as color, size, quantity, market location, sales patterns, all of these would be of help us to quote the exact price.

• Can I order components instead of the full set of door?

A: Yes, as a factory we welcome business clients purchasing components of the door, such as panels, hardware's, motors, etc., to maximize the advantage of our mutual parties.
