Equipment Structure Characteristics
Frame: The jaw crusher is supported by a robust frame structure, which provides structural integrity and stability during operation. The frame is typically made of cast steel or welded steel plates, ensuring durability and strength.
Jaw Plates: The crushing chamber of the jaw crusher contains a pair of jaw plates, one fixed and the other movable. Toggle Plate: The toggle plate acts as a link between the movable jaw and the rest of the crusher structure. It provides support and facilitates the opening and closing movement of the jaw plates, allowing for the crushing action.
Eccentric Shaft and Bearings: The eccentric shaft is a crucial component that transmits the rotational motion of the motor to the movable jaw. It is supported by bearings, which reduce friction and enable smooth operation.
Adjustment Mechanism: Jaw crushers are equipped with an adjustment mechanism to control the size of the discharge opening and the desired product size. This mechanism allows for the adjustment of the distance between the fixed jaw plate and the movable jaw plate, enabling the customization of the crushed material size.
