What is the piston in a hydraulic cylinder?

Piston: The piston rod extends through the head of the cylinder and utilizes the forces of the hydraulic fluid to retract or extend. Seals are placed around the piston to maintain the correct pressure in the barrel.
The piston position will be anywhere between top dead center and bottom dead center of the cylinder, no matter how you stop the engine, be it gradual or sudden. If it is a multi cylinder engine, the piston position will be different in different cylinders.

The piston material is SNCM616V,SNCM26V 20Cr2Ni4A,GCr15,40CrNiMo, the hardness of heat treatment is HRC58-62, and the surface roughness Ra value after fine grinding is ≤0.2μm. processed by machining center with high inner and outer precision. Multiple heat treatment to ensure the rigidity. The piston can be also customized.
