Elastollan® is the brand name for thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) from BASF. Over the last few decades, the numerous benefits of Elastollan® in all its forms – aromatic or aliphatic, very soft or glass fiber-reinforced, flame retardant or highly transparent – have been clearly demonstrated across every sector of industry.

TPU Elastollan 1154D50 exhibits excellent abrasion resistance, toughness, transparency, very good low temperature flexibility,
hydrolytic stability and fungus resistance. It has excellent damping characteristics and outstanding resistance to tear
propagation. Elastollan 1154D conforms to the food contact regulations as described in book 21, section 177.2600 for wet food contact applications. Elastollan 1154D also has NSF Standard 61 “Water Contact Material” certification. Elastollan 1154D is supplied uncolored in diced form.
