Product Introduction

Earlier waterbased acrylic alkyds had problems with poor package stability, and the products tended to dry too quick and yellow, but with research and development over the years has delivered new technology that now we provides alkyd resin with good open time, flow and leveling and resistance to yellowing.

According to customers' needs for steel structure and metal protection, the acrylic modified alkyd resin developed has good surface drying and solid drying properties and excellent comprehensive performance. WL-370-11 has the characteristics of salt spray resistance and strong weather resistance. It is generally recommended to be used in the production of protective paint for car discs and frame, metal anticorrosive paint, and outdoor steel structure paint.

Application

• This product can be used with a small amount of amino to prepare amino baking varnish, and has the characteristics of low baking temperature, good recoat adhesion, and excellent performance.
• It can be used to produce low-temperature baking metal baking varnish (100℃), water-based baking insulating paint, and baking primer for machinery.
• For self-drying paint (with oxidative cross-linking characteristics) such as enamel, blended paint, to replace solvent type self drying alkyd resin
• Can replace solvent-based alkyd resin system, used in metal surface corrosion and anti-rust decoration

Usage

• The addition of drier(our company has supporting drier product, it is recommended to add 4-8% of the amount of resin),can accelerate oxidation crosslinking.
• Adding drier to the original resin and mix, then adding water to dilute it, can achieve better fineness and gloss (oil drier can use BCS, DPM, and other solvents 1 to 1-10 diluted and then add the original resin).
• It can be used in combination with water -borne epoxy ester resin, water –borne acrylic resin, water-borne alkyd resin and self-drying emulsion.
• It can be stored stably in alkaline condition, and will settle and separate in acidic condition, especially when adding acid pigment. Therefore, the diluted resin and paint should be preserved under weak alkaline conditions.

Packaging and Storage Condition

• Packing in 200KG/Drum
• Place in a cool ventilated place,keep container tightly closed.
• Storage temperature is 0-40℃.
• The quality guarantee period of this product is 12 months since the production date.
