A butterfly valve is a type of flow control device, typically used to regulate a fluid flowing through a section of pipe.
The valve is similar in operation to a ball valve. A flat circular plate is positioned in the center of the pipe.
The plate has a rod through it connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the
plate either parallel or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike a ball valve, the plate is always present within the flow,
therefore a pressure drop is always induced in the flow regardless of valve position.

When initiating the rotary opening movement the disc is off-seated after only a few
degree of opening movement and there is very little wear and tear between seat ring and disc.
⊙ Combine fastness
Stainless steel seat ring is rolled into the valve body by applying special rolling technology
when DN<1200. Ultrasonic spray applies seal of valve body when DN>1400.
⊙ Adjust tightness
Rubber sealing ring and disc can adjust tightness or softness of sealing with clamping ring, it insures
best performance of adjusting the compression of sealing.
⊙ Sealing reliable
Body and disc made of ductile iron which promote the impact resistance and pressure-bearing
capacity, sealing ring made of rubber and valve seat’s sealing surface is conical shaped, make the
sealing capacity more reliable.
⊙ Excellent corrosion protection
Inside electrostatic epoxy resin power coating or vitreous enamel(upon request), outside electrostatic
epoxy resin power coating.
⊙ Reliable health nature
Epoxy resin power is up to the health standard.
