One part of the monochromatic light is absorbed by the sample, the other part is illuminated by the sample onto the photodetector, the photoelectric detector converts the optical signals with different intensities into the corresponding electrical signals, which are processed by pre-amplification, logarithmic amplification, analog-to-digital conversion and then entered into the microprocessor for data processing and calculation, the results are displayed on the monitor and printer.
