Railway wheel is an important part of train cars. The wheel rolls on the rail and bears all the load of the vehicle. Therefore, wheel materials should have high strength, high hardness and good wear and heat resistance.
The wheel structure is determined by the wheel diameter, rim, hub size, hub rim distance, web plate shape and rim tread shape. The wheels are divided into straight web, s shaped web, wavy web, basin web according to the shape of web plate.
The railway wheels are manufactured by forging or casting. We are able to provide wheels diameter from 350 mm to 1250 mm. The materials could be EN standard, AAR standard, GOST standard, TB standard. We could also provide wheels for special rail cars like ladle rail car, engineering rail cars, and maintenance rail cars, etc.
