1.Hydraulic System

The hydraulic system mainly consists of hydraulic station, solenoid valve, and its pipe line. The hydraulic station mainly consists of oil tank, oil pump, control valves, power accumulator and pipe line. Besides, temperature detecting device, pressure device, cooling device, and filtering device is also designed with the hydraulic system.

2.Electrical Control System:

2.1Temperature control system: the hardening furnace is divided with 4 heating zones, and tempering furnace is divided into 5 zones, each zone is individually controlled. Temperature controller adopts high intelligent instrument. Each zone is mounted with 2 pieces of thermocouples, one is linked with temperature controller and the other is linked with temperature recorder. 2 sets of multi-point recorders are supplied for the system.

2.2Action Control System: It consists of PLC and relay. A Siemens PLC collects the position signal, start/stop signal from the site, and send out the tasks to control the system and operated in automatic or manual mode. Such kind of system has the complete interlocks (for instance, the door is interlocked with the car), self-diagnosis, failure alarm(power off, over-load, over-temp. fire off and alarm), emergency stop function. PLC can communicate with industrial computer, the system can shift from automatic mode to manual mode freely, which is more robust, reliable and safe. Its main control tasks are as following:

Temperature failure;

Display working status and failure alarming of all motors;

Display working condition of each job position;

Automatic Control and Interlocks;

Manual Operating System is enabled during commission and maintenance.

3.Quenching Tank:

3.1Quenching Media : Water basic liquid

3.2Quenching method: cylinders are horizontally emerged inside of tank. Depth from top of cylinder to surface of quenching water is ≥350mm.

3.3Circulating system: adopts double impellers stirring system, and equipped with guide-flowing device, thus water can be flown in axial direction around the cylinders.

3.4Circulating cooling system: it includes water collection tank, circulating pump, plate-type heat exchanger, (and the tank for storage cold water and cooling tower.)

3.5Cylinder transmission force: provided by oil hydraulic station.

3.6Temperature of quenching water: 120℃

4. Hardening Furnace:

4.1 Loading table of the hardening furnace: it is designed at front of charging door. Several pieces of cylinders are placed at loading table, waiting for transfer inside of furnace chamber, thus to ensure the production line automatically running.

4.2Rated Temperature: ≤950℃

4.3Effective dimension of working zone: 4500×1800×350mm

4.4Effective working station in side furnace chamber: 15 pcs

4.5Temperature Uniformity: ±10℃

4.6Burner capacity: 1092000Kcal/h

4.7Heating Zone: 3 zones (one pre-heating zone, 1 zones for heating, and 1 zone for soaking), temperature of each zone is separately controlled.

4.8Transfer device: hydraulic driving device drive the lifting beam to move; with walking beam moving in square route, cylinders are forward transferred to discharging door one by one; transfer deviation tolerance: ≤40mm

4.9Furnace hearth sealing method: adopts solid sealing method.

4.10Walking beam moving cycle for Standard Cylinder: 160s/cycle, cycle speed can be regulated.

Other cylinder can be produced according to its relative thickness,and its working cycle will be adjusted.

4.11Charge/discharge method: end in & end out

4.12Anti-explosion device is located at top of furnace roof; for easy maintenance and for easy clearance, access door is designed at side of furnace wall. The hydraulic device pushes two walking beam to transfer cylinders from one station to next station, during transmission, slide moving tolerance shall be within ≤40mm. bottom of furnace hearth adopt solid sealing method. (Tightly pressed by clasping device.)

4.13Burner is firmly installed at side of furnace walk. Flame can be adjusted. To avoid flame is directly heated to the cylinder; short flame can be fired in the burner brick hole.

4.14Surface temperature of furnace wall: ≤40℃.
