Highly Effective Pick Module System For High-Density Storage with Various SKUs
Picking modules are ideal for storing and picking in high-speed environments. Picking systems and modules can increase the automation capabilities of a warehouse as they are able to centralize and manage large quantities of various products.
Picking modules are usually multi-story shelf structures that transport products from the picking area to the shipping area via a conveyor belt. Product replenishment within the pick modules takes place in external aisles, usually using forklifts.

Pick modules are usually large, sometimes complex structures that facilitate the storage and retrieval of products. For large distribution centers, this is a combination of the basic components of pallet racking (e.g. columns and beams) and components to facilitate product movement and stock control. Subsets include carton flows, pallet flows, various forms of racking, and conveyors.
Pick module systems are usually customized for each facility as storage and pick requirements may vary from warehouse to warehouse. They have the advantage of being able to build components as required and are easily adaptable to the changing storage needs of the organization.
