Deep reach truck is specially used in double deep pallet rack system. Its fork is designed to be able to up to reach two pallets deep so as to store and retrieve pallets in the inner rows. However, for the stability of the truck, the bottom two feet have to drive into the first level beam. Therefore, double deep pallet rack is required to design a first level beam next to the floor.
