• Pallet racks
Pallet racks refer to those storage racks and shelves that are mainly designed for palletized medium-duty to heavy-duty loads for industrial usage. In pallet racking systems, there are some basic parameters that we need to figure out.

• Double deep pallet racks
To understand double deep pallet racks, let's learn the meaning of single pallet deep pallet racks. Commonly, in selective pallet racking, only one pallet load is stored at the right angle of the beams, called one-pallet-deep. In contrast with that, double deep pallet racking can store another pallet behind the first one, creating a doubled storage density.
So double deep pallet racks make better use of warehouse space compared to selective pallet systems. In some situations where space-efficiency matters more, double-deep pallet racks are more favorable for warehouse owners.
