Selective heavy-duty pallet rack, also called cross-beam style rack in industry, is composed of upright posts, cross beams, cross braces, diagonal braces, and self-locking bolts, which can effectively prevent the system from losing collapse after bolts are loosened from external forces.
The main features of selective pallet rack include:
1) Generally, products are packed in pallets, storage cages, and other containerized equipment and then stored in racks for safe storage.
2) It's one of the most commonly and widely used storage solutions suitable for most warehouses or products.
3) Handling vehicles can reach any cargo space for storage and retrieval operation, with 100% selectivity and accessibility.
4) Using mechanical equipment for storage operation has high working efficiency, short working time, and low labor intensity of employees.
5) Commonly, the storage span of each bay is within 4m, the depth is within 1.5m, the rack heights are within 12m.
6) In selective pallet rack, the height of each layer can be freely adjusted with certain pitch distance, which can meet specific storage requirements of different sizes of items.
Double deep pallet racks are changed from selective pallet racks with similar cross-beam structures. The main difference lies in that, double deep pallet racks are designed with double-row racks for parallel storage layout with doubled storage capacity.
