Pallet flow rack, or pallet live rack system, is a tray storage method using gravity and wheels or rollers to transport and accumulate trays in a storage module and is a state-in-first, first-out dynamic pallet shelf system. Depth can range from 2 to over 20 pallets deep. How Does The Pallet Flow Rack Work?
A full pallet is put at the back end of the pallet rack, together with pallet flow channels. Each lane includes wheels or rollers that move pallets to pick-up locations on slanted racks automatically. In our in-house facility, our engineers can determine the proper slope and test it with your actual product. Metal skate wheels move smoothly on pre-assembled solid tracks.
Insert the tray runners into the brackets and secure them with Tek screws. The pallets arrive at the picking surface on the aisle and come to a halt by a metal stop, which keeps each pallet aligned for picking. Durable metal surfaces and pre-galvanized side channels ensure that your pallet flow system can survive daily abuse and warehouse activities.

Matters Need Attention
The total depth of the shelf (namely the length of the guide rail) should not be too large, otherwise the unused upper and lower "dead corners" will be large, affecting the use of space, and the ramp is too long, the controllability of the slide will be poor, the momentum of the slide is large, easy to cause the decline, block, the role of the pallet goods.
In order to make the slide smooth, if the ramp is long, the damping device should be added in the middle, in order to make the pallet goods slide to the bottom end and not roll due to the excessive impact force, the buffer device and the pickup separation device should be set at the lowest point of the ramp, so the design, manufacture, installation is difficult, the cost is high. This kind of shelf should not be too high, generally, within 6 meters, the weight of the single support cargo is generally within 1000KG, otherwise, its reliability and operability will be reduced.
