Pushback Pallet Rack systems allow forklift operators to store goods by loading from a single aisle. They are available in 2,3,4,5, and 6 Deep configurations. Pallets of merchandise are loaded onto Pushback carts to operate Push back rack systems. To make place for more merchandise, these carts are pushed upstream in the Pushback rack lane on structural steel rails.

The pallet is pushed one pallet position deeper in the pushback rack system as it is loaded from the forklift aisle side of the system. A Pushback Rack system/ Lane with up to six pallet positions can be made by repeating this technique. The final pallet will rest directly on the Pushback flow rails in the flow lane.

As an illustration, this means that a system with two (2) deeps will only have one cart. In the closest position to the aisle, the first pallet will rest directly on the pushback rails. There will only be two carts in a three (3) deep system. Once more, the first position will rest directly on the Pushback rails. The same general principle holds true for all Pushback system depths up to six deep.

You only need to lift the front pallet slightly and back up with the forklift to remove it from a pushback rack system or lane in order to choose or pluck specific products from it. All of the pallets moving upstream in this procedure fall automatically from gravity. With the help of a Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) inventory management system, this method enables simple accessibility.

In comparison to other conventional pallet rack systems, a pushback rack system allows you to store a lot more goods in your warehouse while preserving product selectivity and drastically lowering the amount of travel aisle space needed!
