The CAM168-K1 is a non-metallic meter box products series are made of engineering plastic material such as Polycarbonate (PC) and Glass Fiber(GF). With advanced material technology, the products has impressive features like moisture-proof, impact resistance, aging resistance, corrosion resistance, high- transparency, UV-resistance, easy installation etc. Its professional design also makes functions like enhanced electricity usage safety protection, separated user operation and control, fully closed meter management, fully closed measurement circuit protection, meter tamper and fraud.
This box is widely used in African prepaid metering environments.
FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES:
• Compliant to British Standard BS 5685
• Fire retardant to BS 476, Part. 7, 1997, Class 2
• Complies to ESI standard 12-3 April, 1986
• Constructed from GRP – Glass Reinforced Plastic
• Suitable for all meters including prepay and smart
• Will not corrode, weather resistant
• Easily cleaned and can be painted
• Cable entry and meter tail positions are predrilled and supplied with in-fill cap,cable entry position via hockey stick (not supplied)
• Complete with hinges, lock and key
