Milling Parts
CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining involves the utilization of a machine that
autonomously removes material from a raw stock according to a predetermined set of
computer-generated commands.
This process can be applied to a wide range of materials, spanning from expanded polyurethane
foam to nickel superalloys. CNC machining finds various applications, such as the production
of fabricated items, ornamental furniture, and manufacturing turbine blades.
The cost of CNC machining is influenced by factors like the level of precision required, surface
finish specifications, quantity of parts, choice of material, and overall complexity of the
component.

FAQ's
1. What are your tolerances for machined parts?
For most metal geometries, our tolerances are within +0.005" / -0.005". For plastics,
it's typically +/- 0.010". Tolerances may vary for large parts, especially those requiring flatness
after heat treatment.
"As Milled" finish requires a minimum 125 surface finish for CNC parts.
All fabricated parts adhere to a 0.010" dimensional and 1° angular tolerance.
Tapped holes not explicitly noted in the CAD model will match the specified diameters in that model.
Surface treatments like anodization, bead blasting, iridite, powder coating, etc., are only applied if
paid for and acknowledged in advance.
2. Delivery Time and Quotation Turnaround
Our delivery time and quotation process are influenced by the complexity of your project.
For low-complexity parts, expect a lead time of 2-3 days. As complexity increases, the lead time
can range from 2-5 days. High-complexity parts may require a lead time of 5-15 days.
Quotation turnaround time varies based on complexity as well. For straightforward designs,
we can provide a quote within 1 business day or even faster.
However, for more intricate projects, the quoting process may take 3 or more business days.
If you have a design that needs assessment and a quote from our team, please don't hesitate to
contact us.
3. What industries do you typically work in? Who are your typical customers?
Our extensive experience spans a wide array of industries, making it challenging to pinpoint those
we haven't served. Our clientele consists of heavy equipment manufacturers, general commercial
enterprises, and businesses within the industrial, transportation, medical, and consumer sectors,
among many others.
While our customer base extends across the United States, Europe, and globally, they share a
common requirement: top-notch machined parts that adhere to specifications, meet deadlines,
and remain budget-friendly.
