What is the power tailgate?

   The basic structure of the electric tailgate is composed of two mandrel drive rods. The drive rod is composed of an inner tube and an outer tube through the spindle drive, wherein the motor and the gear in the inner tube drive a threaded spindle which moves on a threaded nut fixed to the inner side of the outer tube. The electric strut uses the electric spindle located inside the motor inside the strut to open and close the trunk lid spring and also assists in the lid opening operation.
