Product Details
Lightning rod is the lightning protection measures adopted by Zhejiang thor Electric Co., Ltd. to independently develop and produce lightning strike hazards. It is a non inductive, low impedance metal inner conductor that leads the wire down, conveying the lightning current after the flashover to the earth and making the protected antenna tower or building not flank and electrified. It is suitable for wireless communication base station, flammable, explosive warehouse, high building, University, hospital, civil, military ship, historic building of airport, horse racing yard, sports field chemicals, rubber, oil depot, meteorological station, petroleum gas station, military base mine and so on.
Use of attention
1. line shall be electrically connected with the main reinforcement of the building, or two or more than two lead lines should be made according to the regulations.
2. the lead off line should be broken card and insulation protection near the ground.
3. avoid collision when handling and hoisting.

Working principle of product
The lightning rod is connected to the ground through the wire and forms the equal potential difference with the ground. Using its own height, the electric field of the lightning cloud is distorted to increase the electric field intensity to the limit value. It begins to ionize and descends the pilot discharge; the lightning rod produces the tip discharge under the action of the strong electric field, and forms the upward pilot discharge; both converge to form the lightning passage, Then it goes into the earth to achieve the effect of lightning protection. In fact, the lightning rod is a lightning needle, which can lead the surrounding lightning and discharge ahead of time and pass the lightning current through its own grounding conductor to the ground, avoiding the direct lightning strike of the protection object.
