The rosin press bags are specially designed nylon filter bags for producing herbal essential oils and rosin extractions. Designed for use with the extraction press, these rosin press bags are strong, durable and both heat and pressure resistant.

 

Bags are available in a choice of micron sizes ranging from 15 micron to 160 micron mesh. The different micron sizes are for different grades of raw material.

 

15 micron: The highest filtration available. The strongest fabric in the fine micron range. Ideal for processing                    sift, bubble or very fine material.
25 micron: Very high filtration. The industry standard for processing sift, bubble or fine material.
37 micron: Our most popular high filtration micron size. Ideal for sift or fine material.
90 micron: Our most popular all-purpose micron size.
160 micron: Our thickest, strongest, highest yielding bag – best choice for flower.

 

How to avoid the filter bags from blowing out?

  • Fill less material in your filter bag.
  • Preheating your material first to make it melty before you begin to apply pressure.
  • Apply the pressure more slowly.
  • Remove excess stems from flowers.
