POE-S224F, 24 Port 10/100Mbps unmanaged PoE Switch, 2 Gigabit RJ45 and 2 SFP Slot Uplinks, which 400 Watts internal power supply. It greatly reduce expense occured by unnecessary equipment for previous electrical power transmission and labour force for installation by delivering data and power over a single Ethernet cables (CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, etc.) to PoE-enabled devices such as Access Points, VoIP, IP Cameras and other IP based devices.
Its wide switch capacity of 8.8Gbps is a way to improve office working efficiency and relieve network congestion. There are LED lights of indicator designed for showing running status of PoE Switch on power management and troubleshooting. It also has 400 watts power supply built-in that is going to assign Max. 15.4W for each PoE Powered Device(PD).
There is always a signature detection and power classification before a constinuous powering up the PD from POE PSE(Power Sourcing Equipment) base on its IEEE802.3af standard, which decribes its typical feature of providing intelligent power solution with energy saving, safety protection of overload, under-powering and incorrect installation, etc. PoE-disabled PD can be connected to the switch and the power will be automatically cut base on PoE PSE auto-sensing technology, which means there is no validity PoE-enabled PD, so, external PD PoE Splitter is required to complete the PoE connection with Non-PoE terminal powered device.
