Differences between AC and DC solenoids
At the most basic level, the operation of DC solenoids is relatively straightforward - the solenoid may be energized, allowing the magnetic force generated by the solenoid to overcome spring resistance and moving the armature towards the center of the coil, or de-energized, allowing the spring force to push the armature back to the starting position.
With AC solenoids, the theory of operation is slightly more complicated. AC current can be approximated using a sinusoidal waveform. As a consequence, twice per period the current has a zero-crossing, meaning that the current flowing through the coil at that point in time is equal to zero.

Self-adhesive enameled wire is a special enameled wire, which is because its special processing properties make the manufacture of the coil simple and easy. The wound coil can be bonded and formed by heating or solvent treatment, and the molding method is simple, and is widely applied to the manufacture of various complicated or non-skeletal electromagnetic coils. The self-adhesive enameled wire has a composite structure, that is, a layer of adhesive paint is applied to the outer surface of the ordinary enameled wire (baseline). Since the composite layer enameled wire is coated with two to three layers of different materials, it is compatible with a variety of different paint characteristics compared with the single layer of wire, which solves the problem that a single material does not meet the production requirements. In the self-adhesive enameled wire structure of the composite layer, the insulating varnish mainly guarantees the insulation performance of the wire, and the second outermost viscous lacquer is mainly used to meet the needs of the coil forming process, and acts as a bonding and protects and enhances the baseline.
