Gas Release Mechanism:
Degassing Process: After coffee beans are roasted, they release CO₂ gas as part of the natural degassing process. This gas needs to be released from the packaging to prevent pressure buildup that could deform or damage the packaging.
Valve Operation: The One Way Adhesive Degassing Valve is designed with a membrane or flap that opens when the internal pressure exceeds a certain threshold due to CO₂ buildup. This allows the gas to escape from inside the package.
Prevention of External Air Ingress:
Air Barrier: Once the gas is released and the internal pressure decreases, the membrane or flap of the valve closes. This creates an airtight seal that prevents external air (containing oxygen) from entering the package.
Oxidation Control: By sealing out oxygen, the valve helps to preserve the freshness and flavor of the coffee. Oxygen exposure can lead to oxidation, which degrades the quality of the coffee over time.
Powder or small particles one-way degassing valve,mainly applied to coffee bags. Because of the one-way degassing valve combined with a layer of filter paper,so you can effectively discharge coffee bags, carbon dioxide and prevent oxidation of oxygen into the bag making coffee powder without seeping makes packing bags of ground coffee.
