Working Principle

When the pressure inside the system exceeds the predetermined threshold, the internal force pushes against the seal or diaphragm.

The diaphragm or seal moves away from the valve seat (the area where the seal rests) allowing gas to flow through the outlet port.

This action releases the excess gas from the system.

When the internal pressure decreases or when the external pressure exceeds the internal pressure, the spring or mechanical force pushes the seal back against the valve seat.

The seal closes the valve, preventing any reverse flow of gas back into the system.

The seal or diaphragm must be precisely engineered to ensure a proper seal without leaks. The material’s flexibility and the accuracy of the valve seat are crucial for effective sealing.
