Product Introduction:
Pneumatic globe valve is an important control valve composed of pneumatic actuator and globe valve body, widely used in the control and regulation of gases, water, steam and other media in the industrial field
The axis of the valve stem of the globe valve is perpendicular to the sealing surface of the valve seat, and the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem is relatively short, with a very reliable cut-off action, making this pneumatic valve very suitable for use as a medium for cut-off, regulation, and throttling.
Globe valves belong to forced sealing valves, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters valve 6 from below the valve disc, the resistance that needs to be overcome by the operating force is the friction force between the valve stem and packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force to close the valve is greater than the force to open the valve, so the diameter of the valve stem should be larger, otherwise it will cause the valve stem to bend.
