INTRODUCTION 3PE coating line is to make anti-corrosion of kinds of steel pipes, such as single layer FBE, double layer FBE, double layer PE, double layer PP and 3PE. The line includes systems of steel pipe transportation, surface disposal, dust catching, pipe heating, electrostatic spraying, coating, water cooling, edge cutting, hydraulic and pneumatic device, detecting and electric controlling system.
Here's a brief overview of the three layers that make up the 3PE coating:
Epoxy Resin Layer (Adhesive Layer): The first layer, typically a fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE), acts as an adhesive between the steel pipe and the subsequent layers. It provides excellent adhesion strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring that the coating system adheres firmly to the pipe surface.
Adhesive Layer: The second layer is a specialized adhesive that bonds the epoxy resin layer to the outer polyethylene layer. This layer is critical in preventing the delamination of the coating system under various environmental and operational stresses.
Polyethylene Layer: The outermost layer is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which provides the primary barrier against corrosion, moisture, and other external factors that can deteriorate the pipe's integrity. HDPE is known for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to chemical attack and mechanical damage.
Description: 3PE anti-corrosion coating production line means the steel pipe is protected by three layer to prolong the life of use from 5-10years to 50-100years. First layer is Fusion bonded epoxy layer (FBE> 100µm), the second layer of adhesive (AD) 170 ~ 250µm, the third layer of polyethylene (PE) 2.5 ~ 3.7mm. Present we can made the machinery for diameter range Φ159 ~ Φ1220. 3PE steel pipe outer coating has a high mechanical strength, excellent electrical insulation performance. The merits include high degree of mechanization, process parameters stable, not pollute the environment, etc. In recent years, the intensive of the pipeline corrosion engineering has been widely used.

Upload Pipes:

Pipes Screw Conveyor:

Rust Removal via Intermediate Frequency Heating:

Epoxy Powder Coating:
