2. 3Layer Fiber

reinforced PE heat shrinkable tape (sleeve) is composed of cross-linked polyethylene back, a middle layer of fiber and special heat melt adhesive an. The 3 layer reinforced sleeve gives better shrink ratio, and better strength. It is resistant to corrosion, wear, impact, UV and aging, easier to be operated.

TEST PROCEDURE
1. Clean the steel pipe and heat it by fire till over 80 ºC
2. Paint the steel pipe with Primer (mixed with A&B)
3. Fire heat the heat shrink sleeve, be attention to start heating from middle of the sleeve, but act from up and down, and gradually move from middle to two sides of sleeve, in order to drive air out of the sleeve, after finish heating, the good result is that there is about 1-2mm hot adhesive melt at the edge of sleeve.

Heat shrinkable Sleeve construction
Before construction, scissors, flame spray gun, gas bottle, cleaning cloth, wire brush, protective gloves, shovel and other construction tools should be prepared.

The surface of the pipe was preheated to improve the adhesive adhesion and the peeling strength of the pipe. The part of the pipe to be welded was preheated with a flame spray gun at a temperature of 50℃-60℃.

After the pipe is preheated, move the shrink sleeve to the pipe interface to be welded. The shrink sleeve is centered at the center of the joint of the two pipes, and the margin on both sides is even.

Start heating, use the moderate flame of the flame spray gun to heat the heat shrinkable sleeve, first heat the middle part of the shrinkable sleeve, so that the middle part of the shrinkable sleeve around the tube, close to the pipe, when heating the gun mouth should leave the heat shrinkable sleeve 5-10 cm or so, prohibit the hot spray gun to scratch the shrinkable sleeve, and in the baking to swing evenly up and down. Melt the hot melt adhesive substrate evenly and shrink to tight.

After the middle part is tightened, the flame spray gun is gradually baked to both sides, the hand-held flame spray gun should swing back and forth, prohibit the flame of the spray gun mouth to stay in one place or continue to bake a certain part, which will cause the shrinkage sleeve to heat up sharply and carbonize to break, when baking on both sides, it can not be too urgent, from the inside out gradually to the outside, the middle can not have bubbles into the hanging part, Until the shrinkable sleeve is uniformly and tightly attached to the tube.
