Plastic PVC edge banding extrusion machine line is used to produce for PVC edge banding which are widely used in furniture, office, kitchen utensils, teaching equipment, civil laboratory and so on. Edge Banding, or edge banding, is the name of both a process and an associated narrow strip of material used to create durable and aesthetically pleasing trim edges during finish carpentry.

The main function of the PVC edge banding is to seal the cross section of the sheet to avoid damage to the board and prevent formaldehyde from volatilization in the environment and use process, and achieve the effect of decoration and beauty. 

Edge banding is used to cover the exposed sides of materials such as plywood, particle board or MDF, increasing durability and giving the appearance of a solid or more valuable material. Common substitutes for edge banding include face frames or molding. Edge banding can be made of different materials including PVC, ABS, acrylic, melamine, wood or wood veneer.

• Single Screw Extruder 

Raw material +wood power+ additive → mixing → granulating → single screw extruder → profile extrusion mould → cooling →haul-off → coiler → finished product

• Double Screw Extruder 

Raw material +wood power+ additive → mixing → double screw extruder → profile extrusion mould → cooling →haul-off → coiler → finished product

• Three Calender System 

Raw material +wood power+ additive → mixing → double screw extruder → extrusion mould → calender cooling → cutting strips→ coiler → finished product

PVC edge banding extrusion line consist of automatic feeder , twin screw extruder ,  extrusion mold , embossing device , cooling calibration equipment , synchronized hauling off unit , glue coating device , winding machine , printing line , etc . compare with the normal single screw extruder , we adopt the twin screw extrusion line , it can feed the PVC powder directly , don’t need to produce the plastic granules first step , it will save the invest the pelletizing machinery , and reduce the production cost largely . and the double screw extruder can be made double output or four output , it increase the production capacity.
