Product description
The universal gimbal corrugated metal expansion joint consists of a bellows, a balance ring and two pairs of hinged plates connected to the balance ring and end tube.Generally, two universal hinge types or two universal hinge types are used together with a single hinge, suitable for "L" type and "Z" type pipe systems, mainly in the way of angular deflection to compensate the synthetic displacement of multi-plane curved pipe segments.Since the balance ring, pin shaft and hinge plate can bear the pressure thrust and other additional external forces, the expansion joint itself absorbs the internal pressure thrust and will not produce external forces on the pipeline, so the setting of pipeline support can be simplified.In order to ensure that the customer's future products are used without defects, the thickness of all the hinge plates and balance rings of the universal hinge type products delivered by our company meet the safety requirements, so as to ensure that they can withstand the major pipeline pressure and thrust caused in the future work process.
Properties
The synthetic displacement of multi-plane curved tubes is compensated mainly by angular deflection.Since the balance ring, pin shaft and hinge plate can bear the pressure thrust and other additional external forces, the expansion joint itself absorbs the internal pressure thrust and will not produce external forces on the pipeline, so the setting of pipeline support can be simplified.The universal hinge ripple compensator can compensate the arbitrary upward angular displacement of the pipeline.The universal hinge type expansion joint is different from the hinge type in that it has a universal ring and two pairs of hinge structures perpendicular to each other in the circumferential direction of the universal ring, so it can absorb the angular displacement of any plane, and two or three combinations are needed to absorb the displacement.
Application
Applied to various complicated piping systems to compensate angular displacement of various space piping systems, such as l-type pipes, z-type pipes, u-type pipes, etc.
In multi-plane piping system, it is designed to apply two universal hinge corrugated expansion joints.Z”Type I pipes are the best solution.As shown in the figure, the universal expansion joint can absorb the thermal expansion of two different planes while absorbing the pressure thrust.The thermal expansion in the branch pipe has been absorbed by the flexibility of the horizontal pipe itself.The planar conduit device shown here controls the vertical displacement.The intermediate support is used to absorb the low compensating force in the system.
Attention
This type of multi-plane piping system is often used when the flexibility of the horizontal pipe itself cannot meet the absorption of thermal expansion in the branch pipe.As shown in the figure, in order to adapt to this thermal expansion displacement, a hinged metal expansion joint and two universal expansion joints need to be used in combination.This can ensure that L1 and L2 have size specifications, and L3 remains small.Lower ducts must use fixed ducting, higher ducts require flat ducting.
