Description:
Pig farrowing crate is also called pig farrowing house or pig farrowing fence. A pig farrowing crate
includes sow locating frame, piglet fence, piglet heating box, pig flooring, fiberglass beam, trough
for sow and supplementary feeding trough for piglet, etc. The locating frame is used for control the
free range of sow's movement. There're bars between each locating frame, in order to avoid being
run over of the piglet.
Piglets fence is to provide a space for activities for piglets, and prevent the run out.Enclosure of the
grid type and plate type two kinds, gate type is good for ventilation and observation, but bad for epidemic
prevention.Barrier for epidemic prevention but cost is higher, piglet fence is 2.0-2.3 meters long, 1.7 1.8
meters wide, 0.5 0.6 m tall, grid spacing is notmore than 40 mm, piglets feeding trough and drinking fountains
were installed in the rear of a fence, outside for wastein the defecation area, at the back of the pig middle floor
consists of a plastic floor and cast iron floor.
