Strontium lanthanum aluminate crystals have no twins and phase transition from melting point to low temperature. It has the same structure as high-temperature superconducting YBCO. Compared to other substrates, the <001> plane has a moderate lattice mismatch with YBCO<001>. (2.5-3.5%). At the same time, the thermal expansion coefficient of the crystal is lower than that of other perovskite crystals, and the film can be deposited at a lower temperature, improving the lattice mismatch and reducing the stress.
