The installation of the water collection cup needs to be adjusted in position, and the position of the suction pipe should be lower than the artificial airway to prevent pipe pulling and facilitate the drainage of condensed water. Pipes outside the water collection cup should not have U-shaped bends. Therefore, attention should be paid to adjusting the ventilator tubing and keeping the water collection bottle in a vertical position to receive condensed water. Before turning the patient over, first deal with the accumulated water in the pipeline, and then reposition the pipeline properly after turning over. Inflated gloves can be used to replace the bracket function, and the pipeline can be placed in the correct position and with appropriate curvature.
The water collection cup can be used in conjunction with various invasive ventilators for gas delivery between the ventilator/anesthesia machine equipment and the patient. As anesthesia gas and oxygen enter the human body, it can effectively reduce dead space and water accumulation in the circuit, and improve the respiratory sensitivity of the ventilator to the patient.
