► Brief Introduction

The Hamilton Medical flow sensor is a device to measure patient air flow with Hamilton Medical ventilators. The autoclavable flow sensor is not to be used in an environment with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. Connect the small tubes of the flow sensor to the corresponding color-coded connectors on the ventilator panel.Insert the flow sensor between the Y-piece of the patient circuit and the patient connection. The end of the flow sensor that should face the patient is marked by “Patient” and an arrow indicating flow direction.
