Description:
Semi-open impeller is much difference with open impeller. One side of the blade groove is closed by roulette and the other side is open. So it can reduce the flow loss. But because the clearance of the impeller side is large, part of the gas from the outlet goes back to inlet.
The type of impeller is single suction type. And the cost of the impeller is low. It can be used in different centrifugal pump.
