jigsaw puzzles are made of cardboard. The pattern of the jigsaw puzzle is the whole art print pasted on the surface of the cardboard before cutting. The content of the picture can be enlarged photographic works, paintings, or other kinds of flat art. The textured cardboard will be fed into a special embossing machine equipped with a predetermined combination of steel cutter sets, the cardboard will be cut into pieces by the cutter sets after strong stamping by the machine. The process is similar to the shape of graphic biscuits, except that the impact of a jigsaw press is much higher. A typical 1,000-piece puzzle, for example, requires the machine to operate at a pressure of up to 700 tons in order for the toolset on the die to cut through the cardboard completely. The die (plate) of a jigsaw puzzle is usually made of plywood. The pattern-maker first cuts or burns grooves on the template in accordance with the pattern of jigsaw pieces and then inserts the blades into the grooves one by one to assemble the cutter sets. The tool bank is also covered with a layer of elastic material, usually foam rubber, which is used to eject cardboard fragments from the holes in the tool bank after printing.
