Jiangsu Luoming pressure swing adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generator is a technology used to produce nitrogen gas from the air by utilizing the principle of adsorption. Here's a simplified explanation of how a PSA nitrogen generator works: Adsorption Towers: The nitrogen generator consists of two adsorption towers filled with a material called a molecular sieve (typically carbon molecular sieve or CMS). These towers are connected to a compressed air source. Adsorption Phase: Compressed air containing oxygen, nitrogen, and other gases enters one of the adsorption towers under high pressure. The CMS material has a higher affinity for oxygen molecules than nitrogen molecules. As the compressed air flows through the CMS, the oxygen molecules are preferentially adsorbed onto the surface of the CMS, while the nitrogen molecules pass through and exit as the desired product. Nitrogen Production: The nitrogen-enriched gas, with a reduced concentration of oxygen, is collected as the product from the adsorption towers. This nitrogen gas is typically of high purity, ranging from 95% to 99.999%. 

By utilizing the PSA technology, nitrogen generators offer a reliable and cost-effective means of producing nitrogen gas on-site, eliminating the need for storing or transporting nitrogen cylinders.
