Description of single girder overhead crane
Single girder overhead crane is the most effective hoisting equipment used in plant or workshop.
Overhead crane can travel on top of runway, so it’s also called bridge crane.
There is also another type of overhead crane called single girder underhung/suspension crane.
It travels under the runway which is fixed on roof of plant.
With single girder overhead crane, you can achieve six motions: up, down, left, right, forward,back.

Mechanisms of 10 tons Single Beam Girder Overhead Crane:
1. Rigid box-typed main girder;
2. Shot blasting for the whole body after welding and releasing internal stresses;
3. Painting epoxy zinc-rich primer, and the thickness of oil film is 140μm;
4. Main girder and end girders are connected by 10.9 degree high-strength bolts;
5. Driven by electric reducer or traditional LD drive system;
6. Running smoothly, brake efficiently, long service life;
Structural characteristics of Single Girder overhead crane
Main girder section
1. The main beam is optimized with light dead weight and reasonable structure;
2. The main beam is a box beam or H-beam structure, formed by welding steel plates;
3. The steel plate material is domestic steel (Q235B);
4. Vertical winding is according to Chinese national standard;
5. All steel plates shall be shot blasting pretreatment to achieve Sa2.5 level standardization
6. Carefully check and clean the steel plate before welding, usually by automatic welding machine (MIG or semi-automatic welding);
7. Nondestructive inspection is performed on the main weld;
Beam section
1. The end beam is made of domestic steel material 6Mn;
2. The end beam is formed by welding rectangular steel tube or steel plate.
After forming, the end beam is positioned and processed once by CNC machine tool to reach the allowable deviation range and ensure the national dimension accuracy and matching tolerance;
3. Each end beam is equipped with wheels with double flanges, buffers and anti-derailment protection devices;
4. The double-beam crane shall arrange the maintenance platform (maintenance aisle) along the driving side of the truck along the main beam direction;
5. The main beam and end beam are connected with high-strength bolts to ensure the precision and smooth operation of the whole machine;
