▌ Product description
"Category 5" refers to category 5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) and category 5 shielded twisted pair. Unshielded twisted pair cable is composed of multiple twisted pairs and a plastic sheath. Category 5 refers to five different quality levels defined by the International Electrical Industry Association for twisted pair cable.
▌Construction
It has the advantages of reduced attenuation, less crosstalk, transmission distance of 120 meters and resistance of no more than 30 ohms. It is used in 100m network. Super class 5 has low attenuation and less crosstalk, higher ratio of attenuation to crosstalk, signal-to-noise ratio and smaller delay error. The performance has been greatly improved. The maximum transmission rate of super class 5 line is 250mbps.
