Oil seals are suitable for a wide range of temperatures, generally between - 20°C and 120°C. Different rubber materials have different temperature ranges. Different rubber materials have different temperature ranges, for example, Nitrile Rubber (NBR) has a temperature range of - 40℃ to 120℃, and Fluorine Rubber (FKM) has a temperature range of - 26℃ to 250℃.
- Under high temperature environment, the rubber material of oil seals will gradually aging and soften, resulting in a decline in sealing performance.
- Under low temperature environment, the rubber material of oil seal will become stiff and lose elasticity, which will affect the sealing effect.
