High-capacity high-temperature hot water boilers are steel pipe-type, usually according to the boiler radiation heating surface media flow method is divided into natural circulation and DC type. (1) The structure of natural lying hot water boilers is similar to that of steam boilers (see figure). Inlet water is generally first through convection heat surface and then through radiation heat ingress, and finally from the top of the upper pot lead. In the combustion of fuel with high sulfur content and water inlet temperature fluctuations, in order to prevent the low temperature area by the heat surface (coal-saving coal) by flue gas corrosion and reduce the vaporization of the tube to produce water attack, it can also be used to use the inlet water first by radiation heat surface, after convection heat surface, to improve the low temperature area heat surface wall temperature. There is no vaporization of water in the hot water boiler, there is no superheater, there is no problem of separation of soda, so the diameter of the pot can be reduced. (2) DC hot water boiler no pot, steel consumption is low, but in the operation of power failure may be due to the sudden interruption of inlet water and pipe wall does not fully cool down and cause equipment accidents. When designing DC-type hot water boilers, the water in the tube is required to have a certain flow rate and the inter-tube flow distribution is evenly distributed to avoid the accumulation of gas and local vaporization in the low-speed pipe. The water ingress temperature of hot water boiler should generally be at least 20 degrees C lower than the saturation temperature under working pressure, so as to ensure that the boiler does not vaporize.
